PREVENTION OF FUEL SMUGGLING AT HANI I ELEZIT
Hani i Elezit , August 19, 2008 – Last evening at Hani i Elezit Border Crossing Point around 17:00 Anti Smuggling Unit of the Customs Service has revealed approximately 800 liters of smuggled fuel.
After routine control it was suspected that this bus was transporting smuggled goods.
Customs officers undertook general control and achieved to reveal a can located in the middle part of bus covered by carpets and fully closed (post-manufactured).
After opening of it about 800 liters is revealed (seized). This case is forwarded to Investigation for further investigation.
