Around 8 kg of narcotic substances are caught
Prizren 1st of March 2021, Customs units, yesterday afternoon in the border crossing point of Vermica achieved to prevent the entry of narcotic substances in quantity of 7.8 kg.
Yesterday around 16:20 in Vermica BCP, the vehicle with Kosovo registration plates being driven by a Kosovo citizen, showed up at the BCP.
After it was selected by the customs officials, the second line check-up was undertaken and while checking the internal part of doors, a suspicious substance was found, type marihuana in amount of 7.8 kg.
Border Police in Vermica BCP arrested the suspect and the Anti-Drugs Unit in Kosovo Police is notified, to continue with further investigations. The case in question was submitted to police for further proceedings.
